Equipment necessary for each job varies slightly from job to job depending on the needs of each client. However, no matter the variations, all things needed for any job offering is on this list:

Headset (costs from 24 to 55 dollars). 

A hardwired computer headset with phone quality audio. (usually required for training and to service most clients.) Most popular types of computer headsets are as follows:

Landline Telephone (costs from 29 to 130 dollars)

Most clients require a landline telephone in order to service, but always make sure you read the opportunity announcement thouroughly for all details. Most popular types of used to service are: AGPtek call center dialpad, Plantronics S12 dialpad

Computer requirements (costs from 300 to 1500 dollars)

You can use either a laptop or desktop computer as long as they’re connected to the internet via hardwire(not Wifi) and they meet the hardware/software requirements specified by the client.

Most used CPU processors are: 

  • INTEL Core Processors: i5-7000,i5-5000, i9 series or better.
  • PENTIUM G5400/N6400 series or better.
  • XEON E Class or better.
  • CELERON J4000/N5000 series or better.
  • AMD Ryzen 3 series or better.
  • ATHLON 3000 Series or better.

ARM Based processors (Like with chrome books or microsoft surface) do not meet requirements.

Memory available must be at least 16 GB of RAM Operating system: Windows 11

Monitor Recommendations:

  • 1280x1080(SXGA) or 1920x1080(Full HD or 1080p_ screen resolutions).
  • Dual monitor capability may be required for some programs.

How to tell if your Lap/Desktop computer is compatible using command console

1.) Turn on your computer and log into your Windows 11 Laptop/Desktop.

2.) Click the search box on the computer’s task bar at the bottom of the screen.

3.) Type “Command” in the search box.

4.) A program called the command program should show up. Open it.

5.) In the command console that opens type: “systeminfo” exactly as you see it here (Without quotes).

6.) When you do this, it will pull up a list including your computer’s operating system, processor type, etc. Compare this list with items on the equipment needed page.
